Wanda F. Grimes (nee Newton), 63, Jan. 26, 2022, Sunman, IN. Beloved wife of Joe Grimes, loving mother of Rachelle Sowers, dear sister of Barbara Newton, Vickie Kent, & Tommy (Tricia Young) Newton, beloved daughter of the late Lloyd “Tom” & Mary Elizabeth (nee Spivey) Newton. Also survived by nieces Ronica Kent, Gigi Chaney, Amy Newton & Kellie (Seth) Watson, several great nieces & nephews, cousins & many friends. She was preceded in death by her nephew Matt Newton. Wanda was an awesome Mother. She loved her family, her grand dogs, & her many friends. Wanda never met a stranger! She spoiled everyone she had an opportunity to. Wanda had a heart of gold. She liked to cook, liked fishing, & road trips. She loved her job & was a loyal friend to many. Wanda worked for JW Express for over 35 years. Visitation Sat. Jan. 29 from 2 PM until the time of memorial service at 4 PM at the Dennis George Funeral Home.
