Teddy G. “Ted” Williams, age 89, of Cincinnati, OH passed away September 22, 2026. Ted was the beloved husband of Margaret (Jackson) for almost 71 years. They married after attending grade school and Anderson High School together. The Williams and Jackson families were already intertwined. Ted’s oldest brother was married to Marg’s older sister, so the couple were uncle and aunt to the same children prior to marrying each other.

Ted cherished his family. He was Dad to his daughter, Kym Pitman (David), and adoring Grandpa of Karen duBarry (Philip), Lisa Cox (Dan), Laura Fox (Drew), and Aaron Pitman (Abby). He also treasured his 13 great-grandchildren: Isabel, Ingrid Spivey (Isaiah), Imogen, Gavin, Iliana, Phoebe, Roman, Isaac, Ian, Levi, Eleanor, Vera, and Ada.

During his years of employment, Ted worked in the chemical industry for Hilton-Davis and Texo Corporation. His hobbies were reading, golfing, gardening, traveling, and spending time either working at his church or visiting with his family. He also enjoyed helping research his family history and he was a passionate Civil War buff. For several years, he golfed with his son-in-law and grandson every Friday at the former Delhi Par 3 Golf Course where he shot 2 holes-in-one in the same summer.

The only thing surpassing Ted’s love for his family was his love for his Savior, Jesus Christ. Ted and Marg became members of the Forestville Baptist Church a few years after it began and he remained a faithful attendee until ill health caused him to become a shut-in. He passed along his love for God, Bible study, and church ministry to his daughter and was thrilled when she married a pastor.

Ted was one of 12 children born to Max and Nellie (Hornsby) Williams, both of whom predeceased him. Along with his parents, his late siblings Bill (Faye), Stan (Pat), Charles, Mary Louise Knapp (Clell), Bonnie Homan (Arnold), and Lola Stone (Gordon) were reunited with him when the Lord took him to Heaven. Ted’s siblings, Pat Robinette (Jim), Katherine Smith (the late Jim), Larry (Carol), and Barbara Latham (Jerry), mourn his passing.

Visitation will be held at the Forestville Baptist Church in Anderson Township on Monday, September 28th at 5 p.m. with the funeral following at 7 p.m. Committal will be at Graceland Memorial Gardens in Milford on Tuesday, September 29th at 10 a.m.
