Rose Girten

Rose Marie Girten (nee Lalosh), age 76, Oct. 1, 2025, Miami Township. Beloved wife of Robert H. Girten, devoted mother of Molli Mierka Triantafillou (Brando) & Robert H. Girten III (Dawn), loving grandmother of Colten, Finnian & Sephira Girten, beloved daughter of the late Marie (nee DeZarn) & William Lalosh, dear sister of Adrienne Heffernan (Joe); Anne, Karla, Janet & the late William Lalosh & Dia Trefzger (Kurt). Also survived by numerous nieces & nephews. Rose was an artist working in several mediums including sculpture, oils, acrylics, watercolor, print making & stained glass (windows & lamps). She loved art, literature, poetry & music & cared deeply about wildlife, nature & her own pets. She loved fiercely & was grateful for the love of her life, Robert Girten. The flowers he grew & the bees, butterflies & hummingbirds attracted to their nectar, brought her joy. The perfect day for Rose was spent with her grandkids, hearing of their accomplishments & those of her children. Friends may join the family Sat., Oct. 18 for a visitation at 1 PM followed by a service of remembrance at 2 PM at the Dennis George Funeral Home, 44 S. Miami, Cleves, OH 45002.
