Regina Benson (nee Mitchell), 60, passed away on Feb. 16, 2023. She is survived by her loving husband Michael Benson, her devoted parents Brenda Fitchell & Marvin Mitchell, her children Vincent Gray(Claire) and John Gray(Jessica), step-children Christy Singley and Scott Benson, siblings Craig Mitchell, Pratt Mitchell, Terri Fitchell. Beloved Nana to Bailey Gray, Kylie Gray, Vinny Gray, Zoey Gray, Gavin Gray, Kenzie Fitchell, Josie Mink, Fred Mink, Cole Benson, Karis Benson, Braxton Singley, Bryson Singley, Bradon Singley, and Hannah Brown. She is preceded by her step-father Terry Fitchell, and her brothers Marvin Mitchell and Darrell Mitchell.
Regina was known for her loving ways. She dedicated her life caring for others. For over 30 years she worked as a CNA and doing home healthcare for the elderly. She also took care of her own elderly parent and grandparents to give them a better life as they grew more dependent. Her selfless serving personality caried over in many other ways. She helped take care of children while parents had to continue their careers. She spent almost all of her free time inviting her grandchildren to any activity that she could find to spend time with them. She served at Crossroads church in first-impressions, this team is responsible for greeting and welcoming people into the church as they arrive. This was a cornerstone to Regina’s character. She was always invitational and selfless. She constantly cared for others and in many cases would offer things to others when she had very little or nothing at all. There is no question that she has moved into a better kingdom which is heaven. Her smile and energetic personality will always be missed by all.
The family will be greeting guests Fri., Feb. 24 from 2 PM until the time of memorial service at 2:20 PM at Crossroads Westside, 8575 Bridgetown Rd., Cleves, OH 45002. After the memorial service, the family will greet friends again until 4 PM. www.dennisgeorgefunerals.com .
