Raymond Joseph "Ray" Fern, 82, Aug. 9, 2022, Miami Hts. Beloved husband of Candice C. Miller Fern & the late Irma E. Pohlmann Fern, devoted father of Karen Huser (Andy), Raymond Fern Jr. & Donna Butler (Tim) & "bonus daughter," Courtne Brass, loving grandfather of Lauren Memmi (Ian), Lindsey Danhoff (Stephen) & Andrew Huser; Raymond Fern; Amy Menninger (Steve), Megan, Kevin & Anna Butler; Katie, Ryan, Lydia & Mason Brass & great grandfather of Andrew & Ella Menninger & Evelyn Danhoff, beloved son of the late Helen (Runck) & Raymond H. Fern & dear brother of Judie Caldwell (the late Michael), Timothy (Rose) & the late Dan Fern (Angela). Also survived by nieces & nephews. Ray was a member of Elder HS class of '58, graduate of UC & a member of St. Joseph Council KofC. He was a CPA by vocation & had a career in county government.
