Michael A. Himes, 71, June 21, 2025, Green Township. Beloved husband of Brenda Keesee Himes, devoted father of Robert A. Himes (Nyoka) & Sarah J. Himes (Brian), loving grandfather of Leena Himes-Beck, dear brother of Karon Stockman (Lowell) & Karol Cannon, beloved son of the late Flora L. Kilgore Carpenter & Harry L. Himes. Also survived by nieces & nephews. Mike was a union electrician, affiliated with IBEW #212 & a longtime employee of Mayers Electric. His avocation was Freemasonry wherein he rose to become the Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Ohio in 2007 & a 33rd degree Mason.He was also a longtime member & treasurer of the North Bend Methodist Church & president of the IBEW Retirees Club. Friends are invited to join the family on Sunday, June 29, at the Scottish Rite Cathedral of the Cincinnati Masonic Center, 317 E. 5th St., Cinti. 45202 for a visitation from 12-3 PM followed by a Masonic funeral at 3 PM. Interment on Mon., June 30th in Arlington Memorial Gardens, Mt. Healthy. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Juvenile Diabetes or the American Cancer Society.
