Margie Louise Schwendenmann (nee Fleckiger), 82, December 7, 2022, Hooven. Margie graduated from Taylor High School and was involved with her 1958 graduating class gatherings at Nick’s Café. She worked at Western and Southern before having children. She was a student aide at Elizabethtown Elementary School, lead teacher at North Bend Childcare, Office Manager at Schwendenmann Brothers Roofing, and homemaker. She was an avid reader, crossword puzzle solver, artistically inclined, had a subtle sense of humor, was active in golf and bowling leagues, and in her young adulthood, she was active in her local women’s group. A fun fact people may not know about Margie, in her youth, she won a softball throwing contest.
Margie was a beloved and devoted wife of the late Raymond Edward Schwendenmann; selfless, caring, and generous mother of Ray Schwendenmann Jr. (Beth Fitzgerald), Carolyn Schwendenmann, Cynthia Reno (Sean), Michele Schwendenmann & the late Debra Ann Schwendenmann; loving grandmother of Matthew (Hannah), Jagger & Elainey; gr. grandmother of Bristol; beloved daughter of the late Gladys (nee Allen) & Jake Fleckiger; dear sister of the late Carla McMichael (late Johnny), the late Wanda Robertson (late Harold), Joyce Westrich (Jerry), the late Barbara Oldfield (Dave), the late Lisa Branstetter, the late Thelma Drollinger, Opal Manning (Paul), and the late Joseph Fleckiger Jr. Survived by 26 nieces and nephews.
