Margaret Frances Knapp nee Mosehart
Margaret ended her earthly pilgrimage and peacefully went home to be with God on, Monday, November 6. Margaret was born to the late Lawrence and Marie Mosehart on December 20, 1934, and is survived by her loving husband Bruce A. Knapp. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Ross A. Knapp, along with dear friends, Alan and Gail Montague and their son Patrick (Christina Montague). Margaret was a lifelong Cincinnatian, graduating from Withrow High School and the University of Cincinnati, where she earned a B.S. in Physical Education and a Masters Degree in Counseling. Margaret was a member of Delta Tau Delta as a student at the University of Cincinnati. She was a highly respected educator, serving at Taylor High School as the head of women's athletics, a physical education teacher, and later a guidance counselor until her retirement after 35 years of teaching. Margaret was a great role-model and mentor to 1,000's of Taylor Alumni, and went on to serve two terms on the Three Rivers Board of Education. She also managed to find time in her busy schedule to serve on the Village of North Bend council and was a member of the Three Rivers Acclaim Foundation. She was honored to have the performance stage at Taylor High School named for both she and her husband. Visitation and services will be held Friday, November 10, 2017 at the Dennis George Funeral Home, 44 South Miami Avenue, Cleves, Ohio. Visitation is at 9:30 am until the service at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Three Rivers Acclaim Foundation, 56 Cooper Ave., Cleves, Ohio 45002 or St. James Episcopal Church, 3207 Montana Ave., Cincinnati, Ohio 45211.
