Luke G. Black, 84, died at his Whitewater Township residence on Sept. 18, 2011.
He was a retiree of Fisher Body & a member of the Eagles & the VFW. He was a US Army veteran of WWII.
He was the beloved husband of the late Ruth Doris Robbins Black, the devoted father of Pat Cavanaugh, Luke M. Black, Mary D. Wolf, Darlene Reatherford & Ruth Campbell & the dear brother of Mary Fisher, Margaret West, Barbara Johnson & the late Sam, James & Ruth Kennedy; Myrtle Ruch; Tom, Mart, Frank, Robert & Paul Black & Ruby Dayter. He was the loving grandfather of 11 & great grandfather of several.
No visitation. Private graveside services. Memorials, if so desired, to the American Heart Association. Dennis George Funeral Home serving the family.
