Karen M. Webster

Karen Webster (Lohe) entered the Realms of Heaven and went to walk with the angels on Friday, November 17^th at the age of 78. She is treasured by her sister Linda Lohe, her loving daughters Lori (Jeff) Mondary and Lisa (Kuy) Adamson, her cherished two granddaughters Samantha (Ben Longard) Mondary and Josie Adamson, one strong grandson Brandon (Dee) Jenner and four great-grandkids. Karen was also a surrogate mother and grandmother to multiple second daughters and to several children which she nurtured and supported. She was close to her late Uncle Butch (Roy) and Joyce Bauer and her cousins on the Bauer side (Donald, Lynn, Will, Dan, Jessica, Butch and Barry). Karen had so many dear friends who will miss her deeply and they created so many great memories together.

Karen was born May 10, 1945 to Betty and William (Bill) Lohe and was the most wonderful and kind person. She graduated from Taylor High School (Class of 63) and remained in the Cleves area. Karen worked at Central Trust-PNC Bank and retired after 40 plus years of service. A devoted and well-loved member of the Cleves Presbyterian Church and member in the Cleves Community, she was always looking out for the citizens and a huge promoter of local business. She loved building relationships.

Karen had a high work ethic and was passionately loyal to her family, always a caretaker. She was someone we could count on, always a straight shooter to get her point across without judgement, providing sound advice. One to always make you consider your decisions and actions. She was a fearless single mom most of her life raising two strong daughters and since transferred to her granddaughters. Karen loved spending time with her family including her cat, shopping, watching the Cincinnati Reds along with following the PGA golf circuit. She enjoyed every family gathering which was reason to be together and play games along with eating delicious homemade meals. Karen loved to listen to Motown music and dancing along making her quite the jitterbugger in her day.

Karen’s motto was to strive to be your best self, guiding you with her wisdom and advice. She preached work-life balance always reminding you to put God first, family second, and then work. She was loved by so many and never met a stranger. She did not live for her happiness, but the happiness of others. We ask you to take the love for her and create a place in your heart where she will be kept alive remembering to also pay it forward to others.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 4^th at Dennis George Funeral Home, 44 S Miami Ave, Cleves OH 45002 starting at 3pm until time of service at 5pm. Friends and family are invited to a reception following at Miami Township Community Center, 3780 Shady Ln, North Bend, OH 45052.
