John Meadows, 87, a longtime resident of Hooven and a native of Jenkinjones, WV, died on Mar. 21, 2009 at Mercy Hospital Western Hills.
He was a retiree of General Motors & a member of the Greater Vision Apostolic Church of Harrison, OH.
He was the beloved husband of Ruby Turner Meadows & the late Ora Davenport Meadows, the devoted father of Calvin (Sharon), Michael (Sudie), Richard (Susan) & the late John W. Meadows & stepfather of Debbie Vinson, Gary & Mark Henry, the loving grandfather of Theresa Akers, Traci Shoelson, Shawna Badescu, Stacey Bogan, Cherie Daughtrey, Calvin & Michael Meadows & Courtney Britt & gr. grandf. of 11, the dear brother of Pauline Snyder, Melba Wicks, Christine Boyd; Harold & the late Robert, Sylvan, Verlon & Freeman Meadows & the dear son of the late John & Ethel (Randolph) Meadows.
Visitation Tues., Mar. 24, 11 AM-1 PM, followed by the service at 1 PM at the Dennis George Funeral Home, 44 S. Miami, Cleves. Entombment following in Miamitown Cemetery.
Memorials, if so desired, to any US Veterans' cause or charity.
John was loved by many & will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
