John E. Howard, 77, of Cleves, died on Nov. 7 at Riverview Community, Delhi Township.
He was a graduate of Miami University & had worked as an educator & a truck driver. He was a member of the Miami University & Taylor High School Alumni Assns., the Cleves 3 Rivers Kiwanis, the Airmasters, the Boy Scouts of America, the Drydrudgers & the SW Ohio Beekeepers.
He was the beloved husband of Leone Mahaney Howard, the devoted father of Susan Springer, Barbara Seibert, Judith Fitz & the late Thomas Howard, the dear brother of Bill, Ed, Bob & the late George Howard, the dear son of the late Elmer & Nelly (Barker) Howard, the loving grandfather of 14 & gr. grandfather of 18.
Visitation Tues., Nov. 10, 7-9 PM at the Dennis George Funeral Home, 44 S. Miami, Cleves, where the service will be held Wed., Nov. 11 at 2 PM. Interment following in Miamitown Cemetery. Memorials, if so desired to Miami University Athletics or Taylor High School.
