James "Jim" Mills

James R. (Jim) Mills, recently of Dillsboro, 83, passed April 4, 2023. Beloved husband of the late Bonita L Mills (nee Graham), devoted father of Patsy Hall (Chris), Cindy Fliehman (late Jerry), Steve McAdams (Melea), and the late Scott McAdams, the late Darin (Amy) McAdams, and the late Brandyn Mills, devoted grandfather of 15, great-grandfather of 18, beloved son of Della Margaret (nee Williamson) and Homer Leslie (Red) Mills, dear brother of the late Gerald Wayne (Jerry) Mills (Carol), and Glenn Lee (Skip) Mills (Michelle), and beloved nieces and nephews, cousins, and many friends. He is survived by his first wife, Ruby Moore (nee Hansmann). Retired from Monsanto Port Plastics, and more recently, Hamilton County Park Services. He was a proud, active member of the Cleves Fire Department for 37 years, North Bend Masonic Lodge No. 346 for 50 years, and the American Legion Miller Stockum Post 485. Celebration of Life visitation Monday, April 10, 6-8 PM, at the Dennis George Funeral Home, 44 S. Miami, Cleves, OH 45022, where the service will be held Tuesday, April 11, at 10 AM. Interment in Maple Grove Cemetery, Cleves. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society, c/o the funeral home.
