James William Bartles

James William Bartles, 68, of Sunman, IN, passed away October 26, 2022, at home surrounded by his loving family.
He was the husband of Kimberly Suzanne (Bennett) Bartles whom he married Oct. 16, 2004. Jim was born in Cincinnati, OH on December 18, 1953, a son of the late Doreena Ann (Sandling). and Charles William Bartles.
Jim graduated from Taylor High School in Cleves Ohio in 1972. He was the father of three wonderful daughters, Kimberly (Derik) Callaway, Nikki (Adam) Biggs and Leslie Breeze (widow of Mike) and step-father of Mark and Cody Bennett.
Jim was a lifelong trucker and working for many companies through his life. He was a Millwright and retired from Millwright Union # 1102. Eventually he became his own boss as a owner/operator. After he retired from the trucking profession, he and his wife Kim opened "The Full Moon Bar and Grill in 2009 in Michigan. He made many memories traveling and taking motorcycle trips. He loved to golf and go duck hunting. Perhaps his favorite times were at the campfire with his grandchildren.
Those surviving are his wife Kim; his three daughters; his grandchildren, Tommy (Kaitlyn) Mullens, Justin (Victoria) Mullens, Brandon Mulllens, Jeffrey Callaway, Casen Callaway, Lexis Williamson; Brianna and Jiimmy Breeze; Morgan and Brady Biggs; Jayden and Alexia Bennett. Also missing him are his great grandchildren, Blaise, Will, Colten, Conley, Kace Mullens and another Baby Mullens on the way!
Also surviving are his sisters, Debbi (Grant) McCauley, Lisa Bartles, Lori Blankenship and a brother Charles Bartles.
In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded by a sister, Sherry Linneman, a brother Stephen Bartles and his son in law Mike Breeze.
A Memorial Service will be held at 5 PM Thursday, November 3, 2022 at the Dennis George Funeral Home 44 South Miami Ave. Cleves, OH 45002. Visitation will be from 3 PM until the time of the service.
