Howard P. Hon, 87, of Miami Township, died on Dec. 2, 2008 at Hospice of Cincinnati at Mercy Hospital Western Hills.
He was a retired electrical engineer from Cincinnati Gas & Electric Co., a US Army WWII veteran; a member of the Cleves Presbyterian Church, the Miller Stockum Post #485 American Legion, Post #6428 VFW and the North Bend Lodge #346 F&AM of which he was Past Master.
He was the beloved husband of the late Dora N. Kuhlman Hon, the devoted father of Jerry (Gatha), Randy (Andrea) & Ron (Jeana) Hon, the loving grandfather of Michelle, Michael, Randy Lee, Bridgette, Carly, Marcie & Peyton & gr. grandfather of 4 & the dear brother of Margaret Evelyn Wilber & Mary Jo Hastings.
North Bend Lodge #346 F&AM service Fri., Dec. 5, 2 PM, followed immediately by the funeral service at the Dennis George Funeral Home, 44 S. Miami, Cleves. Visitation Fri., 1-2 PM. Interment with military honors in Maple Grove Cemetery. Memorials, if so desired, to the Cleves Presbyterian Church.
