Glenn Addison, 83, of Eubank Kentucky, passed from this life on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at the home of his son, Dewayne (Christy) Carter. Glenn courageously fought bladder cancer for 1 ½ years.
He was born in Owsley County, Kentucky on May 13, 1935, to Homer and Etta Mason Addison.
He was a loving and kind man, that always had a smile and a hug for you. He never met a stranger. Glenn, with the Lord’s help, turned his life around 3 years ago and has boldly and proudly been serving the Lord in “Amen Corner” ever since. He was a member of The Bridge Community Fellowship in Somerset, Kentucky. Glenn loved laughing, his family & friends, animals, especially his granddog, Piper, his church, telling stories, his hospice family and most of all his Lord and Savior.
He is survived by 2 sons, Mike (Debbie) Addison of Sevierville, TN and Dewayne (Christy) Carter of Eubank, KY; 3 daughters Lisa (Jeff) Greer of Eubank, KY, Tina Bralley of Sevierville, TN and Glenda Carter of Eubank, KY, 1 brother, Homer “Jr” Addison of Walton, KY, 13 grandchildren, Travis Addison, Ashley (Stephen) DeBord, Brad (Kristen) Greer, Andrea “Andi” Pennington, Kayla (Blake) Rogers, Zachary (Stephanie) Bralley, Chelsea (Logan) Carter, J.D. (Selena) Mounce, Jayme Wells, Payton Mounce and Taylor Hestand, 13 great grandchildren; Braxton, Aiden & Isaac Addison; Bristyl, Kasen & Lainey Greer; Logan & Ellis DeBord; Xylon Anders, Millie Jude Rogers, Jaxon Mounce, Paisley Wesley & Noa McKay Bralley.
He leaves behind a host of family and friends that mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 sisters; Jeanette Roberts, Geneva Abbott, Lorraine Saylor and Louise Addison; 1 grandson, Nicholas Flatt.
Visitation Tue., Dec. 18, 5-9 PM at The Bridge Community Fellowship in Somerset, KY.
Visitation Wed., Dec. 19, 11 AM until time of funeral service at 1 PM at the Dennis George Funeral Home, Cleves, OH 45002. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Cleves, OH.
Bro. Joe Altman and Bro. David Green will be officiating.
Pallbearers will be Brad Greer, J.D. Mounce, Payton Mounce, Jayme Wells, Logan Wesley, Mike Doyle, Teddy Roberts and Larry Masur.
