Ernie E. Saylor

Ernie E. Saylor, 86, died Aug. 27, 2025 at his residence in Bryan, OH. He was born Apr. 19, 1939 in Coldiron, KY, & spent most of his adult life in the Cincinnati area where he had a 51 yr. career as a machinist with US Playing Card Co. in Norwood. He was a longtime member of the True Free Christian Church of God in Hamilton, OH. Survivors include his daughter, Kimberly Hollin (James) & his son Joseph Nelson Saylor (Missy), a stepdaughter Terena Humphries (Mark), his grandchildren, Jaclyn & Logan Hollin; Katlyn, Brice & Joshua Saylor; step grandchildren Nathan & Tyler Humphries, great grandchildren Eli & Asher Saylor, his sister, Doris Peace, numerous nieces & nephews & his church family including Willie & Robert. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine Addison Saylor, by the mother of his children, Mary Jo Davis Auterson, by his parents, Mary O. (Hensley) & John Harmon Saylor Sr. & by siblings Mossie Raines; Jerry, Gary & John Harmon Saylor Jr. Friends may join the family Sun., Aug. 31, for a visitation starting at 4 PM followed by a funeral service at 6 PM at the Dennis George Funeral Home, 44 S. Miami Ave., Cleves, OH 45002. Interment Tues., Sept. 2, 10 AM at Maple Grove Cemetery, Cleves, OH.
