Donald L. "Don" Meyer, 89, June 18, 2021, Price Hill. Beloved husband of the late Joyce "Joy" Campbell Meyer, devoted father of Marsha Meyer Strode, Cindy Meyer Stutzman (the late Dave), Debbie Meyer McIlvoy, Teresa Meyer, Lester Meyer (Sue) & the late Donna "DJ" Meyer Ryan (Larry), loving grandfather of Rachel Stark (Jason), Brent Stutzman, Kaela McIlvoy, Nicholas Meyer, Alexandra Evans, Morgan Evans & Brooke Meyer Scott (Caleb), great grandfather of Jadyn, Brent, Gabrielle, Gavin & Grayson, beloved son of the late Florence (nee Ruble) & Lester Meyer, dear brother of Marlene Meyer Burton (the late Bernie) & uncle of Eric Grubbs. Also survived by other extended family members. Don was President of the Custom Forging Co., an industrial blacksmith. His avocations were many & varied, but his lifetime passion was the church. He had served as elder & deacon at various Christian Churches & taught Sunday School for adults & children. At the time of his death, he was a member of the Price Hill Church of Christ but had formerly been associated with Cleves Church of Christ & Oak Hills Christian Church. His civic involvements included membership on the Cleves Board of Public Affairs & city council. As a child, he wanted to be a fighter pilot, but color blindness prevented anything other than a private pilot's license, which he obtained. He & Joy enjoyed motorcycling, boating & 17 years of retirement in FL. Visitation Mon., June 28, 4 PM until time of service at 6 PM at the Dennis George Funeral Home, 44 S. Miami, Cleves, OH 45002.
