Detmer, Donald Dale, 90, Nov. 30, 2017, Cleves. Beloved husband of the late Margaret Detmer (nee Mattlin), devoted father of Linda Roell (Paul), Larry Detmer (Lydie), Patti Peterson (Randy), Margaret Detmer (Dana Jones) & the late Kay Klosterman (Rick), loving grandfather, gr. grandfather & gr. gr. grandfather of many, beloved son of the late Leola (nee Loring) & Charles Fredrick Detmer, dear brother of Betty Rose Vinup ( the late Hubert), the late Mildred Fancher (the late Bill), Maurie Detmer (the late Dot), Bud Detmer (the late Jean), also survived by life long best friend Mary Foutty. Mr. Detmer was an Army veteran of WWII, he was a member of American Legion Post 59 & he was a founding member of the Saylor Park Auto Club. Visitation Mon., Dec. 4, 6-9 PM at the Dennis George Funeral Home, 44 S. Miami, Cleves, OH 45002 where the service will be held Tue., Dec. 5, at 10 AM.
