Debra L. "Debbie" Fox (nee Drew), age 67, of Addyston, OH, passed away unexpectedly on September 29, 2025, surrounded by her loving family who tenderly cared for her in her final days.
Debbie was the beloved wife of 41 years to Roger Fox, who fondly shared, “She was my rock.” She was a devoted mother to her sons Matthew Fox (Deandra) and Drew Fox (Laura), and a proud, doting grandmother to Drew Gavin Fox, Phoebe Fox, Eleanor Fox, Gavin Barrett, and Landon McQueary. She was the cherished daughter of the late Olene (nee Miller) and Philip Drew, and the dear sister of Phyllis Lewis (John), Mike Drew (Rose), Lawrence Drew (Angie), and the late Glenn Drew. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and the countless lives she touched.
For nearly 30 years, Debbie served as a dedicated employee of the Three Rivers School District, where she was passionate about supporting education and her community. She was known as an accomplished EMIS professional whose integrity, work ethic, and loyalty made her a trusted colleague and friend.
Beyond her career, she poured her heart into her faith— praying and studying the bible, attending church, and in her earlier days teaching Sunday School and VBS classes. She was a woman whose daily life reflected her deep belief in Christ.
Debbie had a gift for creating joy in everyday moments—whether crafting, celebrating holidays, shopping, singing, puzzling, or reading a good book. She loved planning family traditions, decorating for every season, and especially baking with her granddaughters.
She treasured time with her family and friends, and she never met a stranger.
Known for her warmth, kindness, and thoughtfulness, she encouraged her grandchildren’s passions, attending every school play and cheering them on in every milestone.
She also found comfort in nature, spending time at the family’s land in Kentucky, where she enjoyed riding in the woods, watching hummingbirds, and soaking in the outdoors.
Together with Roger, she shared a love of the arts, holding season tickets to productions at the Aronoff, Covedale, and Incline Theaters. She also made time each month to gather with friends, always showing her care through small but meaningful gestures and gifts.
Debbie will be remembered as a loyal wife, loving mother and grandmother, dedicated friend, and a woman whose kindness, integrity, and faith left a lasting mark on everyone she met.
