David Helmig

David Edward Helmig (Houseboat), 57, May 23, 2025, Cincinnati. Beloved husband of Lisa K. Burke, loving father of Jack Helmig and Rhiannon Burkhart, beloved son of Linda and Jack Helmig, dear brother of Chris Helmig (Michelle), dear son-in-law of James and Carole (nee Woodmancy) Burke, dear brother-in-law of Kevin (Lisa) Burke, Michael (Christy) Burke and Patrick Burke, also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Dave loved his boat and being out on the river; when he wasn't boating you could find him out on his motorcycle visiting local establishments and getting some wind therapy.

Dave was a guardian of the marina and what better way to honor his life than at the place he loved. Come share memories, tears and laughter as we celebrate someone who was one of a kind!
