Charles Richard Nelson

Charles Richard Nelson, 86, of North Bend, Ohio, passed away on July 23^rd, 2023.  Charlie was born on January 8, 1937 to Ervin and Luella Nelson (nee Alexander). 

He was a co-founder of the Nelson Stark Company and many knew him as “Good Time Charlie”; a lover of racing jeeps and funny cars.

Charlie was pre-deceased by his parents, brothers Joe and Paul, daughter Pamela Kae Dickhaus, and Carolyn Jean Nelson, mother of his three children.

Charlie is survived by his long-time love, Donna Malecki, son Jay E. Nelson (Lori), daughter Jodi A. Nelson, sister, Bunny Smith (Charles), grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at Dennis George Funeral Home in Cleves, Ohio on Friday, August 11, 2023.  Visitation 10 am until time of service at 12 pm; a private inurnment will follow.  A reception at Walt’s Hitching Post in Fort Wright, Kentucky from 4:30 pm until 9:00 pm will be held.
