Calvin E. "Batch" Grant, age 73, of Sevier County, TN; Greendale, IN & formerly of Cleves, OH, died suddenly on Sept. 13, 2007 at the Univ. of Tennessee Hospital, Knoxville, TN.
He was a retired lab supervisor in plastics manufacturing, a member of the 1st Baptist Church of Sevierville, TN, a member of the Lawrenceburg, IN Lodge #4, F&AM & a former member of the Cleves, OH Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife Patricia Y. Knight Grant, by his children Steve Grant; John (Cheryl), David (Pamela Sue) & Eric (Pam) Koenig, by his siblings Nora Walton (the late Herman), Wilma Seal (Gary), Imogene Werner (the late Milburn)& Howard Grant (the late Dolly) , by his grandchildren Sean, David & Ian Grant; Chris, Rebecca & Shanna Koenig; Harry Lovins, Brent Beisel & Amy Fulton & by 10 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his siblings Autri Clark (Bob) & Robert Grant (the late Dorlene).
Visitation Tues., Sept. 18, 2007, 6-9 PM at the Dennis George Funeral Home, 44 S. Miami, Cleves, OH where the service will be held Wed., Sept. 19, 2007 at 11 AM. Lawrenceburg, IN Lodge # 4 F&AM service Tues., Sept. 18, 2007, 8 PM. Interment in Maple Grove Cemetery, Cleves, OH. Memorials to Sevier County Food Ministries, P.O. Box 6042, Sevierville, TN 37862.
