Obituary

Brenda Kay Lozier (nee Burford), 75, of Dallas, Georgia, passed away on February 1, 2026. She was the beloved wife of Paul Wayne Lozier for 57 years, devoted mother of Melissa Kay Fox (John), Christopher Lozier (Anne Marie) & the late Matthew Lozier and loving grandmother (Gaga) of Julianna Kathryn Fox, Lauren Kate Fox and Tyler Jonathan Fox. She was the beloved daughter of the late Julia (nee Kenney) & Paul Burford Sr., dear sister of the late Paul Burford Jr. (Juanita), Donald Burford Sr. (Ida), Charles Burford (Peggy) & Wanda Burford. Visitation Tues., Feb. 17, 4 p.m. until the time of funeral service at 6 p.m. at Dennis George Funeral Home, 44 S. Miami Ave., Cleves, Oh 45002.

Born on March 29, 1950, Brenda grew up in Cleves, Ohio, and graduated from Taylor High School in 1968. Later that same year, she married Wayne, the love of her life. Her love for her husband was surpassed only by her deep devotion to Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior—a faith that shaped every aspect of her life and that she joyfully shared with everyone she met.

One of Brenda’s greatest joys was using her God-given talents to play the piano and organ in the churches where she worshiped and served. In 1980, she and Wayne moved their family to Georgia, where she lived for the remainder of her life. Brenda embraced her calling as a stay-at-home mother, finding purpose in caring for her family, volunteering in her children’s schools, leading small groups in her church, and exploring new places through travel.

Brenda especially delighted in her role as a grandmother. She treasured time with her grandchildren, lovingly spoiling them and faithfully supporting them from the audience or sidelines at every opportunity. Her radiant smile reflected the joy of her faith and brought light to all who knew her. Though she endured progressive physical limitations as she aged, she faced them with strength and courage. While she will be deeply missed, we rejoice in the promise that her body is now fully healed and that she is in the presence of her Savior, reunited with loved ones who have gone before her.

Visitation Tuesday, February 17th from 4 p.m. until the funeral service at 6 p.m. at Dennis George Funeral Home, 44 S. Miami Ave., Cleves, Oh 45002. www.dennisgeorgefunerals.com
