Beverly L. Benter (nee Bowman) 88, Nov. 3, 2025, North Bend. Devoted wife of the late Joseph L. Benter and beloved mother of Todd (Joyce) and Tim (Pam) Benter. Cherished grandmother of Morgan Schweinfurth (Josh), Jeremy Benter (Tasha), Sydney Benter, the late Christopher Benter, Graham Benter (Ally), and grandmother-in-spirit to Emmalyn Wood. Loving great-grandmother to Vivian, Charlie, Chloe, and Andie. Beloved daughter of the late Lola Bowman (Hafel) and Marion Bowman. Dear sister to the late Velma Hausfeld, Myla Farmer, LaVerne Hitchens, Walter Bowman, Carole Kolb, Chloe Calvert, Martha Russell, Betty Stagnaro, and Stanley Bowman Jr. Sister-in-law to Ann Edwards and Vicki French.

Bev had a special gift for nurturing others — from the grandchildren and great-grandchildren she adored to the many family pets she cared for over the years. Beyond her immediate family, Bev leaves behind a legacy of love shared with her many nieces and nephews. Whether by blood or mere proximity, she had a way of making everyone in her orbit feel like one of her own. As the youngest in a large, close-knit family, she treasured her siblings and made it a priority to stay in touch. Bev will be remembered for her frank sense of humor, her joyful spirit, and unparalleled devotion to her family.

Celebration of life Saturday, Nov. 8, 12-3 p.m. at Aston Woods Clubhouse (3745 Chestnut Park Ln, Cleves). Memorials may be made to the Greater Cincinnati Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.
