Bertie Lou Rupe (nee Thackston), 82, of Miami Heights, died on May 3 at Shawneespring of Harrison, OH.
She had worked as a bookkeeper for an insurance agency & was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church.
She was the beloved wife of the late Russell L. "Jack" Rupe, the devoted mother of Karen Gault (Gary), Kathy Ellis (Wilbert) & Janie Joerg (Rick), the loving grandmother of Jennifer & Brian; Aaron, Nathanael & Rachel; Rich & Sandy & great grandmother of Claire, Lauren, Drew, Charissa; Olivia, Daniel, Brady & Bryce & Gavin & sister of the late Roy Thackston.
Visitation Thurs., May 5, 6-9 PM at the Friendship Baptist Church, 8580 Cheviot Rd., where the service will be held Fri., May 6 at 11 AM. Interment in Arlington Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Hospice of SW Ohio, c/o Dennis George Funeral Home, 44 S. Miami, Cleves, OH 45002.
