Barbara Hamilton

Barbara Ellen Hamilton (nee McCabe), beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend, passed away in the loving embrace of her family on October 20, 2025. She was born on October 30, 1935, and lived a remarkable life filled with love and dedication to her family.

Barbara is preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Grady, and son, Jamie Sherrel. She is survived by her sons, Myron V. Hamilton and Grady J. Hamilton; daughters, Dena Baker and Bobbi Su Kent as well as their spouses.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, Everett F. McCabe and Ethel (nee Gulley) McCabe, as well as all of her siblings. Loving grandmother of Robbie Kent, Joshua Kirk, David Kirk, Carrie Hamilton, Shannon Hamilton, Aaron Hamilton, Mathew Hamilton, Kelly Baker, Kasi Powell, Jami Wilson, Jodi Baker, Chad Hill and Shannon Berry as well as their spouses. She was a loving great-grandmother. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Barbara was a longtime member of the IOK Four Wheelers, the Eagles and gave to numerous charities.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 30, from 6 PM until the time of the funeral service at 8 PM at the Dennis George Funeral Home, located at 44 S. Miami Ave., Cleves, OH 45002.
