Amanda Peck

Amanda Dawn Peck (Johnson), age 44, of Hebron KY, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2025, surrounded by close friends and family.

Instead of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a College Fund for Amanda's children (Tyler, Lennon, Lainey) or to St. Jude’s Hospital

In recent years, Amanda faced a diagnosis of breast cancer bravely, believing that God could fully heal her earthly body, and holding to the conviction that even if He did not, He is still good. She chose to walk her treatment path quietly, drawing strength from her faith community, close friends, and family. Amanda fought for the longest future possible, pouring every ounce of her energy into being with her people and staying grateful for every moment she was able to share with them.

Amanda’s life was marked by a deep loyalty to her people and a determined strength to fight for what she believed. She found joy in things her family could gather around, like charcuterie boards & dips, holiday games & puzzles, and experiences such as family vacations and getaways.

She is survived by her husband, Aaron Peck; children Tyler, Lennon, and Elaina; her father, Jerry Johnson (Tina Spence); her sisters, Andrea Johnson and Amber Wachtel (Jeremy); her nieces, Bekah, Abby, and Josie; and her aunt Linda Ballard. Amanda shared loving and special relationships with a wide family circle that surrounded her, including Aaron’s parents, two siblings, and their families; Jerry’s (Tina) four stepchildren and their families; Amber’s (Jeremy) extended family; and the Moses family. She was preceded in death by her mother, Karen Ballard Johnson, and her grandparents, Al and Ina Ballard.

Amanda believed that we are co-creators with God to bring about beauty from ashes and that He restores what is lost to an outcome equally, if not twice as desirable. With a heart transformed by a relationship with Jesus, she believed that each of us has value that is worth fighting for through love, sacrifice, and forgiveness.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Crossroads Church in Florence, Kentucky. Visitation with family and friends will take place from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., followed by a service from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.
