Ronald G. Eckert, 87, Aug. 31, 2022, Sayler Park. Beloved husband of Betsy R. Eckert (nee Gerhard), devoted father of Patricia Knoche (Terry), Gary Eckert (Miavona) & John Eckert, loving grandfather of Ronald, Jessica, Jasmine, Kelli, Jade & Jason, loving gr. grandfather of Noelle, beloved son of the late Gladys (nee Bruner) & Elmer Eckert, dear brother of the late Elmer “Jack” Eckert, Shirley Davis, Joyce Havens & Janet Potraffke. Ronald was a U.S. Navy Veteran & retired from the Cincinnati Enquirer where he worked for 40 years. He was also a loving uncle to many nieces & nephews. Also survived by brother-in-laws John & Charles Gerhard. A memorial service will be held Fri., Sept. 9, at 12:30 PM at the Eden Chapel United Methodist Church, 150 Dahlia, Sayler Park (Cincinnati, OH 45233).
