Joy F. Geraci-Dreyer

Joy F. Geraci-Dreyer, age 94, formerly of Western Hills, passed Thursday, November 11, 2021.

She grew up in the Lockland/Reading area of Cincinnati and attended both respective High Schools.

Later lived in Murray Hill, NJ and Ft. Wright, KY with her late ex-husband George Dreyer and their son Richard.

She worked as an executive secretary for Federated Department Stores at their Cincinnati Headquarters during her early working years and also at Fas Foto. In her later years she worked as a secretarial assistant to former late Cincinnati council woman Bobbie Sterne. She also earned her Certification in Graphoanalysis.

She was an accomplished seamstress and loved clothing design and fashion. She enjoyed pencil sketching and water color painting at Riverside Park and Devou Park in Covington, KY. Most important to her was her faith in God and study of his word which she devoted the last 50 years of her life.

She was a devoted and inspirational mother to her son Richard, sacrificing much if not all her time, resources and love to his early upbringing and constantly throughout his life.

Preceded in Death by her beloved parents Joseph and Laura Geraci of Blue Ash (Twin Lakes) and her older brother Harold Geraci. She is survived by her devoted son Richard G. (Yvette) Dreyer, sister Janet Kent and brother Gordon (Sherry) Geraci, many nieces and nephews and one grand dog (Oswald).

Visitation Saturday, November 20, 2021 from 12 noon until the time of funeral service at 1:30 PM at Dennis George Funeral Home, 44 South Miami Ave., Cleves, OH. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Glendale. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Good Samaritan Hospital and Hospice of Cincinnati for their wonderful care and compassion.
