Bart Earl Miller

February 23, 1963 - November 29, 2021

Bart Earl Miller, 58, Nov. 29, 2021, Whitewater Township. Beloved partner of Twylla Hicks, devoted father of Narcissa M. Zeek (Marcus) & the late Conrad W. Miller, loving papaw of Ryleigh, Carter & Kennedy Zeek; Charlotte, Crue & Chance Miller, beloved son of William Petty Sr. & the late Margaret Petty, and the late Robert Miller, dear brother of William Petty Jr. (Diana), Homer Lee Petty (Dawn), Karen Williams (Brian), & Angie Hedges. He is also survived by the mother of his children Daphne Miller & many, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Bart was a 1981 graduate of Sheridan High School (Thornville OH) where he excelled in track and field sports and developed his interest in woodworking during Industrial Arts classes. He took college courses in drafting and engineering design which lead him to his career in the cabinet and casework industry. For the past 20 years, he has been working for Custom Millcraft Corporation (West Chester Township, OH). He served 6 years in the Ohio Army National Guard. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, cooking over an open fire and many other outdoorsman activities. He could be found jamming to 'Free Bird' or other rock hits with friends and family, playing a competitive game of euchre or just relaxing with a beer watching reruns of M*A*S*H. He shared in the joy of his children's activities through coaching several sports teams, being a Cub Scout Leader always participating in the Annual Holiday Cake Bake fundraiser and dancing in the father-daughter recitals. His role as Papaw seemed to be his most joyous. He enjoyed the grandbabies birthday parties, cooking family meals, holiday gatherings, being the spectator for so many activities and holding weekend sleepovers with all 6. Even so, he was able to enjoy his garden, cuddle up with his furry companion, Bob and travel many times to the South Carolina vacation spot that he and Twylla always spoke of so fondly.
